Far too many children and young people don't experience the joy and achievement of regularly participating in recreational activities. Yet for children and young people experiencing adversity, participating in these activities can be truly transformative.

Here at Thriving Through Recreation, we are passionate about expanding access to recreational learning to everyone who needs it.​

We provide grants to children and young people navigating social, emotional, or educational difficulties so that they can regularly attend any recreational pursuit of their choosing.
Together, we can ensure that everyone can thrive through recreation.
Funding Recreation
The children and young people who receive our funding are all navigating tough times.
So whether they are pulling out their paint brushes, scaling climbing walls, or learning to play chart-toppers, our grants help make life that bit easier and support their journey to thriving.

If an activity happens regularly outside of school hours and involves some form of oversight or instruction by a provider, it counts as recreational learning, and we believe it really matters.​
